Especially loved the story of your son’s choice of Cinnamon. More love in our needy world starts right here, with our pet companions. Biscuit, my special needs kitty, reminds me of this daily. Thank you, Sylvia

Yes, it does. The more love we generate, the more love we generate. I would love to meet Biscuit. She is beautiful, and obviously a source of great delight!

Loved reading about these dogs; I assume Little Stevie raised a paw of approval for your writing about "other" animals.

I didn't DARE tell Little Stevie what I was writing about! Frodo and Molly used to let dogs visit. Frodo would get up high and glower. Molly would tease them and play with them. But Little Stevie? He chases them straight out of the house! He is determined to be the only animal over here, other than the human animals who wait on him. I guess life must have been hard on the streets of Memphis, and, well, now he knows he has a good thing going.

Oh! The dogs I have loved and who have loved me! Truly “god” spelled backward.

Great essay.

Yes, I cannot imagine life without animals. If left to my own devices, I would live with a menagerie. And, yes, "dog" is "god" spelled backward for sure!

Ah yes, poor excuse for a dog. Why do people trim their dogs like that anyway? I loved Schitts Creek and the movie, Best in Show! Lotta laughs.

She kind of looks like she is on wheels! But she must be a good and patient girl, because all that fussing with hair takes time -- and probably product, too. Maybe that's partly why she was groomed that way for the show? It gave the handler a chance to show how cooperative she was when she was groomed?
