Meant to share I did go and spend time with all the voices and images in this exhibit.

I loved how these images often leapt off the canvas with such clarity; it felt as if they were right in front of me.

Their words were varied: in topic and tone. Yet there was a theme of persistence, of caring, of humanity.

Thanks for letting us know of this opportunity. I’ll go again, on line. Meanwhile, here are a couple of moments (among many) that inspired me.

Bless your One Good Thing and you, who “am one good gal.”

It would be interesting to know how Robert Shetterly picks his subjects, wouldn't it? I found the exhibit so inspiring. I'm so glad you got to go and that you liked it, too!

Here’s an awesome answer to the question of their remaining days’ viewing availability:

Hi, Maryli,

The exhibit is open Monday - Saturday, 6 a.m. - 6 p.m. Those are the building hours. Please let me know a time you would like to visit and I'll see if we can have a docent to lead you.

Warmly,

Connie

So we could even go as a small group if anyone wanted to.

Sylvia, I think it’s not booked throughout the remaining days, just for the special events. How could it possibly be booked every day, every hour?

Anyway, I wrote an email to the docent lady’s email, asking about this. I’ll let you know what she says, or I’ll just go to Lewiston and find out. Or call…if I can find a number.

I’m not going to let this go by without trying.😉

We just walked in. The mill is a public building, and the show us in its lobby.

Enjoy your writings. A point of reflection. Noam Chomsky has written extensively on the Mainstream Media and the Democratic Parties extensive involvement in provoking Russia into the war in Ukraine. His “truth telling” should bring reflection to the democrat party supporters.

Thank you, Sylvia. To be reminded of those truth tellers from our past is deeply reassuring in our troubled present. I will visit the website of the show. Hasty

I think you will enjoy the website, Hasty. Too bad you don't live closer ... you could see the paintings up close!
