Where Sheep May Safely Graze
Friends,
On this Christmas morning, I found a new post from Barbara Brown Taylor’s blog waiting for me in my in-box. I have long loved Barbara Brown Taylor’s writing, and this blog post might give you some idea of why. Her words seem to set just the right tone for this day, when I find myself longing for peace, for gentleness, for new life, for love. I want to share it with you. (I hope this works!)
Sending you love today and all days,
Sylvia

Thanks for this perspective shared, Sylvie. Sheep are such gentle creatures. It’s good to be reminded.
Sheep and lambs abounded around us for the past two months, offering an education about their lives and habitats. We were even invited to friends’ shed during their lamb shearing.
Skilled workers became a ballet with a crew of six set to shear a flock of 800. (Of course I’ve a video and pictures to share.)
Hope your Christmas was a lovely day for you, Steve, and David.
Looking forward to seeing you soon.
Merry Thoughts~
And Thank You.
Thank you, Syl. Merry Christmas to you, Steve, and David. May we have more gentleness and peace in our lives in 2026.
