Sylvia, Thank you for the love and comfort your words convey. I feel the hug you send. That is my absolute favorite Robert Frost poem…reminding us to Be in nature, to rest and heal. We will get through these tough times together. 🙏🏻

Rest and heal when possible. That makes it possible to work hard . . . and there is so, so much work ahead.

I love that Frost poem, too!

Thank you, Syl for your wise words. I need to be honest about the despair, even as I struggle to hold on to hope that we will prevail. I will try one more time to find peace and to BE in this fraught time.

I know what you mean. If you didn't feel despairing, I would worry about you! This past week has been particularly brutal, even in this country where brutality and cruelty are the regime's point. I have needed to spend some time in my "be" place to fill my sails again. I am heading to a bridge rally this afternoon. Love to you!

I have been feeling such despair and rage and sorrow for what is happening in our country and in the world right now. I feel heart broken. Thank you as always for your wise words and sincere thoughts. I am going to take some deep breaths right now. 💕Irene

Me, too. Heart broken. And taking deep breaths. Thank you!

That's a great sign - "Be". The church I belong to recently had so me sweatshirts and t-shirts printed up that read "Human Kind. Be both". That kind of says it all too. I'm sick about what happened to Renee Good. They're painting her as a domestic terrorist. Huh? She was sitting in her car doing nothing but trying to let the people in the neighborhood know that ICE was around. If that's terrorism, the world is in a whole heap of trouble!! -Dorrie

Yes, yes, yes. That's a wonderful message on the sweatshirts and t-shirts! AND, you are right: we are in a whole heap of trouble, not least because the regime is trying to yank the narrative away from the facts that are plain to see in the videos of the event. Oh, don't get me started! The more this kind of dangerous nonsense accumulates and circulates, the more we will need to take care of ourselves and one another so that we can fight (peacefully) back. Love to you!
